London Ryder Cup: West vs East Golf Event ⛳🏌️‍♂️

We recently organised a two-day Ryder Cup-style golf event for a client, bringing together guests for friendly competition and premium hospitality at two of England’s most prestigious courses.

Set across Swinley Forest and St George’s Hill Golf Club, the itinerary blended sport, social connection, and seamless logistics from start to finish.

The Courses:

Swinley Forest Golf Club

Located between Sunningdale and Ascot, Swinley Forest is a classic Harry Colt design that has captivated golfers for over a century. The course winds through beautiful heathland framed by heather, mature pines, azaleas and rhododendrons. With 2 par 5s, 11 par 4s and 5 par 3s, it plays to a par of 69 and stretches 6,431 yards from the back tees. The layout is deceptively demanding, with elevation changes and undulating greens that require accuracy and a thoughtful approach.

St George’s Hill Golf Club

Another standout from Harry Colt, St George’s Hill is known for its strategic layout and striking natural beauty. The course features two 9-hole loops, the Red and the Blue, both starting and finishing in front of the clubhouse. Each hole offers a different challenge, with elevation shifts, bold bunkering and thoughtful routing throughout. The 9th tee and 18th green offer some of the most memorable views on the course, all enhanced by a striking hillside clubhouse and expansive terrace that offers a perfect setting to relax post-round.

Tee times arranged for two four-balls, followed by onward travel to the hotel.

Check-in, pre-dinner drinks, and dinner served in the hotel restaurant.

A relaxed evening to reflect on the day’s play and prepare for day two.
